BJP Nagaland to kick off the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Tiranga Yatra on August 11.

DIMAPUR — Chief spokesperson of BJP Nagaland, N Kakuto Chishi, highlighted the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and the upcoming Tiranga Yatra, scheduled from August 11 to 15th, during a press conference held at the BJP Dimapur office on Saturday.
The spokesperson said that as part of the twin events, the BJP will organise medical camps on August 11 in all 11 district jails. Chishi expressed gratitude to Minister of Health & Family Welfare Paiwang Konyak for providing free medicines and extending logistical support to the party.
The party will also visit the Deaf Biblical Seminary, a school for differently-abled students, located at Naharbari in Dimapur.
On August 12, in line with the Swachh Bharat initiative, all 60 BJP mandals will conduct cleanliness drives in their respective areas starting at 6 am, led by the mandal presidents.
Khevishe Sema, vice president of BJP Nagaland and convenor of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Tiranga Yatra Committee, informed that on August 13, the Tricolour will be hoisted at the BJP state headquarters in Kohima, as well as in all 14 district offices and 60 mandal offices, which will commence from 9 am onwards.
This will be followed by the Tiranga Bike Yatra, which will be flagged off from Dimapur by the former MLA and State BJP executive member Kehovi Yepthomi. The event is expected to see the participation of over 200 bikers.

The Tiranga Bike Yatra will cover over 50 km spanning three districts — Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland. The yatra will commence from Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur, and conclude at the State Stadium in Dimapur.
On August 14, the Ex-Servicemen Cell and State Kisan Morcha will visit ex-servicemen, families of war veterans, martyrs, and police personnel who laid down their lives in service to the nation, across all districts and mandals in Nagaland, the committee convenor informed.
On the same day, Partition Horrors Remembrance Day will be also be observed across all 14 districts and 60 mandals in Nagaland, led by the State ST Morcha, starting at 10:30 am.
On August 15, a hand cart Tiranga Yatra will be held at DDSC Stadium, which will be flagged off by State BJP president at 12:10 pm. This will be followed by a food drive at at Dimapur Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Thakur Bari, Marwari Patti, led by the State Minority Morcha and State OBC Morcha.
Distribution of sanitary pads to underprivileged women in 14 districts will also be held on August 15, where the BJP Mahila Morcha will speak on menstrual hygiene.
Simultaneously, penalty shootout tournaments will be held between booth-level teams in 47 Aboi A/C Mandal, 57 Thonoknyu A/C Mandal, and 60 Pungro-Kiphire A/C Mandal.
