BJP Nagaland State unit has strongly refuted to the “disinformation” unleashed by Yitachu, spokesperson of T.R. Zeliang group that they would be having a meeting with State BJP team in presence of Central leaders. “That was a figment of his imagination because there was absolutely no such proposal,” the BJP, Nagaland unit said in a statement. “What is most intriguing was however, making public that they had rushed to Delhi to meet the Central leaders on the present political imbroglio. NPF, which has been so critical of BJP is now rushing to BJP Central headquarters in New Delhi and met the General Secretary (Organization). The only explanation was either they have accepted as their party high command or they are working on an agenda of joining BJP,” the statement added.According to it, party president Dr M.Chuba Ao rubbished the statement of Yitachu that the four BJP MLAs and the president were summoned by Central BJP leadership. “It is to clarify once for all that the Central BJP has invited us to Delhi for political consultation on the present ongoing crisis of the State,” the BJP statement clarified.
It is to clarify that Ram Madhav, General Secretary met TR Zeliang and his team and not Ram Lalji, General Secretary (Org) as reported in some local media, it further clarified. “It is interesting to note that the Chief Minister of a State representing from a regional party rushing to Delhi for seeking the political advice of Central BJP General Secretary,” the BJP statement added.

“Moreover, in the recent days, it is unbecoming of NPF leaders to be interfering with the internal affairs of the State BJP while leaving aside with their own house in a complete mess. The party will like to remind the alliance partner that BJP Nagaland is capable of taking care of its own house and does not need an outsider advice or guidance,” it advised NPF.
Today at Delhi, the BJP State team led by its president Dr M.Chuba Ao and the four MLAs namely Dr TM lotha, P.Paiwang Konyak, Imtilemba Sangtam and Mmhonlumo Kikon has met some top party officials and has apprised the political situations of the State. The BJP Nagaland delegates will be staying back for a while in order to meet the other top BJP officials who are out of station and will be back in the capital shortly, the BJP statement said.
