BJP Mokokchung serves show cause notice to 6 members

Mokokchung, Feb. 26 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mokokchung district has served show cause notice to six party members for seeking replacement of BJP Nagaland state president Temjen Imna Along.

BJP Mokokchung district president Imolemba Jamir and general secretary S Moa Imsong informed through an update on Friday that show cause notice has been served to Nukshi I Ozukum, T Nukshi Jamir, Watitemsu, Lanuyanger Longkumer, Tekanungla and Alepla Chang for creating an issue without the knowledge of the district party office.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of district office, madals, frontals, state council and state executive members. The party’s district unit refuted the claims made by the six members in their letter addressed to BJP in-charge of Nagaland state, Nahil S Kohli on February 25.

The six members, who have issued show cause notice, had in their letter to Kohli sought replacement of the incumbent state BJP president claiming that he was not able to discharge his duties diligently because of his other responsibilities as a cabinet minister in the PDA government.
