Mokokchung, March 3 (EMN): Six top Mokokchung BJP district officials, who have demanded replacement of the incumbent Nagaland BJP state president Imna Along Longkumer, have decided not to recognise the ‘so-called’ Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) constituted by the BJP district office saying it was “unconstitutional, unwarranted and without any powers.”

Signatories including the BJP Mokokchung district vice presidents namely Nuskshi I Ozukum, T Nukshi Jamir and Watitemsu, and secretaries Lanuyanger Longkumer, Tekanungla and Alepla Chang pointed out that the meeting on February 22 where the district office bearers discussed threadbare about the festering leadership issue in the BJP Nagaland state was on record. It added that the signatures where the six BJP Mokokchung district officials appended signatures endorsing the decision for replacement of the incumbent state president was also on record.

The signatories expressed surprise how the so-called ‘Disciplinary Action Committee’ under the convenership of  Lanutoshi could label such blatant lies against the decision of the district office which was taken on February 22 at the district office.

The signatories further stated that the ‘Disciplinary Action Committee has no powers to question the decision of the district office bearers’.
