BJP Mokokchung district holds executive meeting

Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): Mokokchung unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held its executive meeting on June 22 to discuss the party functioning and mobilisation for the upcoming state general elections.

Speakers of the meeting included former district presidents and BJP Mokokchung district in-charge, Nuklutoshi Longkumer.

Formally welcoming the gathering, the unit vice president, I Lanutoshi Longkumer, stated that the BJP Mokokchung has come a long way and there is no stopping back. Making an illustration of a ‘diesel engine,’ Lanutoshi stated that BJP is like a ‘diesel engine’ that will take the party till the end, an update from the district BJP media cell stated.

District executive members and former district presidents namely L Temsu and R Nungsang urged the gathering to maintain the sanctity of BJP. While narrating the hardships of BJP in Mokokchung in the last decade, they urged the karyakartas to work with humility and serve the people.

In his presidential speech, Imolemba Jamir highlighted the recent BJP state executive meeting held at IMC Hall, Dimapur, on June 18. He also congratulated all the morchas, mandals, and cells for going beyond the call of duty and reaching out to the people of Mokokchung under the banner of BJP, Mokokchung district. He stated that all the activities undertaken by the BJP Mokokchung was well documented.

The district in-charge and former minister, Nuklutoshi Longkumer, could not attend the meeting due to his pre-engagement. He, however, sent a message which was read out at the meeting. In his message, Nuklutoshi Longkumer challenged all the karyakartas to work more vigorously and achieve the farsighted decisions and visions of BJP under the BJP national president, JP Nadda and the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The programme was chaired by district secretary, Tiarenla, while the kisan morcha president, Tiayanger, said the invocation.
