BJP Mokokchung celebrates pre-Christmas

Dimapur, Dec. 22 (EMN): BJP Mokokchung district celebrated pre-Christmas at its district office on Tuesday with the former minister and in-charge of BJP Mokokchung district, Nuklutoshi Longkumer, as the special guest.

An update from BJP Mokokchung stated that it was an auspicious occasion as the party karyakartas from the different mandals in Mokokchung district converged and celebrated the birth of Christ.

Speaking on the occasion, Nuklutoshi encouraged the karyakartas to remain united. While highlighting the yearning of Naga people towards finding solution to the Indo-Naga political issues, he called upon the members to work towards that end. Besides, he also encouraged all the rank and file to be prepared if election should come.

The programme was chaired by BJP district secretary, Imtichizung, while the district vice president, L Yanger Lemtur, led in prayer and Bible reading.

Christmas greeting was also delivered by the district vice president, I Lanutoshi Longkumer.

Short speeches were delivered by Arenla, vice president of mahila morcha; Tiayanger Jamir, president of kisan morcha; S Bendang Aier, secretary of BJP Nagaland; and M Along Longchar, general secretary of ST morcha, Mokokchung.
