Nagaland BJP minority morcha members distribute food items to the needy persons in Dimapur.

Dimapur, May 30 (EMN): BJP Nagaland general secretary, Khevishe Sema has called upon the state minority morcha members to befittingly serve the masses as the party commemorates seven years of Modi government.

Khevishe stated this while addressing the virtual meeting of the state minority morcha office bearers, district and mandal presidents, general secretaries and media convenor held on May 27. He also asked the morcha members to counter the rumours spread by the opposition parties with facts and figures and also highlighted the achievements made through the initiative of the prime minister.

Deep Kumar, president of state minority morcha, delivered the welcome address in which he apprised the members about the virtual meetings held with party’s national leaders namely the national president JP Nadda, national in-charge for Nagaland Nalin S Kohli, Northeast in-charge Ajay Jamwal, Nagaland and Manipur in-charge Abhay Giri, national minority morcha president Jamal Siddiqui, and state president Temjen Imna Along besides others.

An update from the morcha stated that state morcha vice presidents Ajay Sethi and Brij Kishore,  state general secretaries Roshan Kumar Tamang and Papiya Chakraborty, state secretaries Mustafa Ahmed Talukdar, Ashim Das and Anita Roychowdhury, district president Rabikant Mishra, Mokokchung district in-charge Ankur Sangpang Rai, district general secretary Rajat Ghosh also offered their valuable suggestions to combat Covid-19.

Meanwhile, it mentioned that the morcha members in Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung in particular are actively initiating various measures to assist the frontline workers and masses during the Covid pandemic under the leadership of respective district presidents namely Prakash Chhetri, Raj Das, and Rongsenyanger Ao.

The respective district morcha have distributed ration, meals, fruits, water distribution, oxygen cylinders and organised blood donation camps. They have also provided free medicines, ambulance services, masks, sanitizers, gloves and extended funeral service support.
