DIMAPUR — The Nagaland state BJP Mahila Morcha organised three-day ‘Nari Shakti Vandhan’ events, led by National Mahila BJP President and sitting MLA from South Coimbatore, Vanathi Srinivasan.

According to a press release, the three-day events were conducted nationwide, with the participation of BJP mahila members and karyakartas.

In Nagaland, marathons were organised across districts and mandals on March 4, with participants including college girls and first-time voters. On March 5, walkathons were organised, during which all participants were briefed on the importance of availing various welfare schemes introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, especially for women.

On the final day, the state mahila morcha organised a live screening of PM Modi’s address from West Bengal, with attendance from NGOs and self-help groups at Tourist Lodge in Dimapur.
