BJP Dimapur holds its 7th executive meeting

Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party Dimapur held its 7th district executive meeting on Saturday in Hotel Saramati which was graced by minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi was the special guest.
In his address, Zhimomi said that the BJP is a cadre-based and a disciplined party and therefore, encouraged the party workers to work on the lines of prime minister’s mantra ‘where the country comes first, the party second and the individual last’. Saying that the PHED has maintained the ‘Saab ka Saath, Saab Ka Vikas’ in true spirit and letter, Zhimomi said that the department has completed the construction of 1118 toilets in six months in rural areas thereby declaring Nagaland as open defecation free state.
He also requested the party workers to encourage people at the grass-root level to avail the recently Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana at Dimapur district hospital which provides health insurance up to INR 5 lakh per family annually.
State Mahila President Nini Cheng also encouraged the Mahila party workers to be active in social media platform and in politics. A minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to Late. K Medom, former president of BJP Dimapur District.
Earlier the program was chaired by Atu Jamir secretary, presidential address was given by L. Bendang Ao District president and vote of thanks was pronounced by Ikato V. Sumi. The meeting was attended by various morchas and mandals president and general secretary along with Dimapur district executives and state party officials stationed at Dimapur.
