Bishop inaugurates new PG block at SJC (A)

James Thoppil, Bishop of the Kohima Diocese, addressing the gathering after the inauguration of a new PG block at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, on August 2.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): A new Post Graduate block of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, was inaugurated on August 2 by Rev. James Thoppil, Bishop of the Kohima Diocese. In his speech, the Bishop praised the college for its growth in excellence and wished to see more dedications. The college principal stated that the new venture would become a centre of learning for the youth and envisioned of introducing doctorate programme within the next four to five years. Fr. Benny, the college administrator, thanked the individuals who have helped in making the dreams come true and appreciated their efforts with gifts. Lecturers, students, villagers and well-wishers have attended the inaugural programme.
