Bhojpuri Samaj donates mobile vaccination ambulance

Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): To accelerate Covid-19 vaccination in urban areas, the Bhojpuri Samaj Dimapur (BSD), has provided a mobile service to District Hospital, Dimapur, on July 9. The mobile Covid-19 vaccination service was launched by the chief medical officer (CMO), Dimapur, Dr. I Moatemjen.

An update from the CMO’s office stated that the Covid-19 vaccination ambulance service would be utilised during the vaccination outreach sessions in urban areas.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, BSD project chairman Ram Sharma, stated that the Bhojpuri Samaj has been at the forefront in helping the needy during the Covid-19 pandemic. He added that the organisation has provided the  mobile Covid-19 vaccination service in continuation to the cause to curb the pandemic in urban areas.

Meanwhile, Dr. Moatemjen has thanked the Bhojpuri Samaj for extending the service and also appreciated them for providing manpower to carry out the mobile Covid-19 vaccination service in urban areas.

Dr. Rebecca, DPO, UIP-RCH, who chaired the programme, stated that the first mobile Covid-19 vaccination service provided by the Bhojpuri Samaj would be held in New Market on July 9.
