Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to cover five districts in Nagaland

DIMAPUR — The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by the Indian National Congress (INC) leader, Rahul Gandhi, will cover five districts of Nagaland encompassing 17 assembly constituencies in two days measuring 257 km. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is a march to unite India for justice.

The first edition of the yatra called Bharat Jodo Yatra, a march to unite India, was held from September 7, 2022, to January 30, 2023, led by Rahul Gandhi, a journey of 4,080 km for 150 days and covering 12 states and two union territories.

As per the road map shared by the Congress, the yatra will cover five northeastern states namely Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. The other states included West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

The yatra will begin on January 14 from Manipur and end on March 20 in Mumbai. The march will be for 66 days covering 6713 km in 15 states and 110 districts.

The road map shows that 107 km comprising for districts will be covered in Manipur in one day, while 833 km in Assam in eight days and covering 17 districts, 55 km in Arunachal Pradesh in one day and in one district, 5 km in Meghalaya in one day and in one district.

The yatra will cover 523 km in West Bengal in five days, 425 km in Bihar in four days, 804 km in Jharkhand in eight days, 341 km in Odisha in four days, 536 in Chhattisgarh in five days, 1074 km in Uttar Pradesh in 11 days, 698 km in Madhya Pradesh in seven days, 128 km in Rajasthan in one day, 445 km in Gujarat in five days and 479 km in Maharashtra in five days.
