Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: AICC Minority Department prepares ground for success of Rahul Gandhi-led yatra
DIMAPUR — To ensure the success of Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra (India Unity and Justice March), which is set to kick off on Sunday, Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi, National Chairman of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Minority Department, has allotted assignments to national office bearers.
Accordingly, National Coordinator of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Minority Department, Rajesh Kumar Sethi Jain, has been given the charge of Manipur, while former Congress candidate T Thomas Konyak is in-charge of Tripura, and Runith D’Mellow in-charge of Nagaland, said an update received on Friday.
The weeklong Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will start from Manipur on January 14, before moving to other states like Nagaland, Assam and Maharashtra, with an eye on the upcoming 2024 Parliamentary election, as well as strengthen the state units.
Expressing gratitude for giving the responsibility of overseeing the success of the yatra in Manipur, Jain said he would do justice to the assignment given to him and strengthen the party in all possible ways.
