Dimapur, Feb. 1 (EMN): The Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) conducted on January 31 a services camp in collaboration with the district administration, government departments, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and other stakeholders at Bhandari subdivision in Wokha district on.
According to updates that were received here, Khrievono Seletsu, secretary of the WDLSA, delivered the keynote address besides inaugurating a legal aid clinic for Bhandari.
The secretary urged the gathering to avail the benefits the camp was offering. They were informed that the camp would offer services in matters regarding free affidavits, declarations, correction of names, and death and birth certificates, among other work including education documents.
She stated that the camp hosted services of registration for schemes by various departments such as Labour, Social Welfare, Postal services, and banking among others, the updates stated.
Other services among them included registration for disability certificates, and screening for HIV/AIDS also, it was informed.
In this line, stalls were set up for assistance to the public.
During the camp, the district administration and various other departments offered different services from their respective areas of specialisations, the updates stated.
Also, the Medical Dealers Association of Dimapur are said to have provided free medicines during the camp.
