Kohima, July 3 (EMN):
Officials have dismissed rumours of some persons working at the Bethel Kitchen in Kohima testing positive for Covid-19.

A WhatsApp message citing “reliable sources” had claimed that some of those cooking at the kitchen had tested positive.

When asked, the officer in-charge of the food committee, Limanenla, also the additional deputy commissioner of commissioner’s office, clarified that all members of the food committee and workers stationed at the Bethel Kitchen have tested negative.

She added that all drivers engaged in delivering food to the quarantine centres have tested negative. It may be mentioned that Bethel Kitchen has been cooking for people staying at the quarantine centres in Kohima since June 3. It is an initiative of District Task Force, Kohima, supported by the Kohima Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship.
