PERHAPS for the first time ever in Nagaland, a fitness discipline Les Mills Body Combat has certified a citizen form the state. Talitemjen Ao has been certified with the Certificate from Les Mills International New Zealand.
The PAWF, for Nagaland, was introduced by Ao and Talien Pongen with Zumba (a dance fitness discipline) in town. The venture is said to be for the first time in the state. The venture received support from Dimapur-based Sinai Ministry. The news of the new development was shared with Sinai Ministry members at the Light House Church on Friendship Sunday, Sunday, August 7.
PAWF Nagaland’s master trainer Talien and Ao spoke about their certifications and ambitions as a team. The general message was that with the new step, the fitness community in the state will definitely move a step ahead toward a ‘fitter Nagaland’.
Ao explained that Les Mills Body Combat was a martial arts-based conditioning workout designed and engineered as a non-contact body workout that has elements of boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Capoeira, Tai Chi and Jiu-Jitsu.
Ao and Talien concurred that they wanted to ‘declare our achievement with Sinai Ministry because this ministry has a special in our heart. They have pushed us, molded us, supported us in all possible ways they could,’
Ao explained further that body combat was an empowering cardiovascular workout. The energetic program has been inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines.
The discipline and health routines are supported by driving music and powerful model instructors who lead practitioners through energetic sets.
You can be part of the most exciting way to getting fit in the state currently.
