Bear cub finds new home at NZP

Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): Forest department, Mon division, on June 26 handed over one stray bear cub to the wildlife wing to be relocated at the Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP).

The divisional forest officer (DFO) of Mon, Raj Priy, informed that the bear cub was given by Nyawang Konyak, president of BJP Mon district. The officer has appreciated Nyawang Konyak for his concern towards conservation of wildlife and for donating the bear cub to the Forest department.

The officer added that the bear cub was handed over to the wildlife wing of the Forest department to be relocated at the Nagaland Zoological Park in Dimapur.
