Basic course for Scouts and Guides underway in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) is conducting a basic course for Scout masters and Guide captains at its State Training Centre, Phezha Nerhema, Kohima district, from May 15 to the 21st.

Altogether, 56 persons from eight districts - Dimapur, Kiphire, Kohima, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Tuensang and Wokha – are taking part in the course training.

The course is led by state training commissioner (Scouts) R Albert Solo LT (S) and state organising commissioner (Guides) Vimezhonu LT (G) of NSBSG.

The seven-day course will cover various topics and impart formal and non-formal educative knowledge on physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual learning experiences to the trainees.
