The annual sports meet of Baptist High, Kohima (Class 11 &12) began today with Principal Baptist High Kohima Keviseto inaugurating the tourney this morning.Addressing the students he said firm commitment with action was the key to success in one’s life and one should stick to it.
Expressing that, sports is a must for physical fitness and good health, he also said one should have discipline and sportsman spirit. He also encouraged the students to take up sports as profession as it has lots of lucrative avenues.
The opening ceremony was led by P.H. Shesou, special song by Alohito and oath taking was administered by sports convenor Dili.
The game being played are Volley ball (boys & girls), Basket ball (boys & girls), football (boys), long Jump (girls), Track & field (boys & girls) and tug of war (boys & girls).
