BAN sets up market for fresh vegetables, fruits from local farmers

Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has set up a small vegetables and fruit market at the badminton indoor stadium in the premises of the state stadium near the DC Court junction in Dimapur. The market has permission from the Dimapur district administration.

The food market started on April 23 with time slot from 9 am to 2 pm for the customers and from 7 am for vegetable vendors. The activity is expected to continue for the next coming days or as per the convenience of the vendors, BAN’s executive member Achen Imchen told Eastern Mirror earlier. The groups hopes to promote local products as well as rescue the local farmers,
