Dimapur, November 11: Former minister and MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today said the aim of any argument, discussion or differences should not be limited to attaining victory alone but aimed at progress, improvement and finding amicable solution.

Addressing the 7th general session of Phek Area Public Organization (PAPO) at SIRD Training Extension Hall, Azo said the people of Phek area should whole heartedly stand united in all fronts and not politics alone.

“We need to come together not only in politics but also in economic and social life,” he said and urged upon the people to learn to appreciate each other and stop criticising. He regretted that there is no space for encouragement in Naga society today.

Stating that PAPO being one of the oldest and biggest body existing and one of the strongest backbone of Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO), the former minister also lauded the efforts of the office bearers and pioneers of PAPO and urged upon them to continue working in the interest of the area and not forgetting the general interest of the Chakhesang and Nagas as a whole.

Adoption of PAPO constitution was led by Nesucho Keyho, member constitution drafting committee, which was later released by Azo.

Former MLA Chekhutso Rhakho, CPO former vice president K Shevotso Rhakho and Zhopra Vero, Kedalo NNC/FGN also addressed the session.

Earlier, PAPO president Vezhehu Vero delivered the presidential address while the function was chaired by PAPO vice president Niekhusa Venuh. The welcome address was delivered by PAPO vice president Nekhuzo Khamo.
