Ayushman Bharat health check-up camp held in Kohima
DIMAPUR — The office of the chief medical officer (CMO) in Kohima, in collaboration with the District Implementation Unit (DIU), Ayushman Bharat (AB) – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), and all empanelled hospitals, organised an Ayushman Bharat health check-up camp at Kohima Village Primary Health Centre (PHC) on Saturday.
According to a DIPR report, this event was part of the Ayushman Pakhwada celebration, marking the sixth anniversary of the AB-PMJAY.
Deputy CMO Dr. Imchatoshi, speaking on the occasion, highlighted the significance of the sixth anniversary of AB-PMJAY and encouraged all beneficiaries to take full advantage of the healthcare services provided under the scheme.

The camp offered services such as general health check-ups, non-communicable disease (NCD) screenings for diabetes and hypertension, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, dental procedures, AYUSH consultations, and enrolment in the AB-PMJAY/CMHIS scheme.
The district team, led by Dr. Imchatoshi, nodal officer of AB-PMJAY in Kohima, oversaw the camp, where more than 58 beneficiaries availed themselves of the health services offered during the event.
