Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): Integrated Ayush Hospital Razha in Chedema under Kohima district observed the 7th Ayurveda Day on October 23 on the theme “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda.”
A press release from the hospital stated that Dr. Seyiekhrietuo John, SPO (Ayush) and chief guest, has highlighted the importance of Ayush in healthcare system and various activities carried out by the department of Ayush in the state.
Dr. Khonuo Mary Belho, medical superintendent in-charge, also spoke at the event focusing on the theme. She urged the public and staff to adopt healthy lifestyle and promote Ayurveda and further encouraged the public to grow medicinal plants and avail the Panchakarma services in the hospital.
Dr. Gwachung Magh, medical officer (Ayurveda), gave an overview regarding the celebration of Ayurveda Day and its significance. Report stated that along with awareness through video presentation and talk on Ayurveda, IEC materials were distributed among the public. The programme was attended by the staff of IAH, village council members and the public of the neighbouring villages.
