Ayemi lauds NDA’s handling of Covid-19 pandemic
Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Advisor of Power department and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator from 1 Dimapur-I assembly constituency, Tovihoto Ayemi, has lauded the BJP-led NDA government at the centre for the successful handling of Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Ayemi stated this while addressing the party workers at the first executive meeting of the BJP Dimapur unit held at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, on September 19.
He lauded the NDA government in handling the situation during the pandemic for enabling to feed 80 crore people for several months, which also won accolades from across the world. He added that the Nagaland BJP had also done a very commendable job in providing relief to the people during the pandemic as compared to other political parties.
Informing that BJP membership in the state has grown from around 10,000 members to four lakh within two years, he stated that it indicates the citizens’ faith and confidence on the party. He went on to state that the party is growing from strength-to-strength under the leadership of the state BJP president Temjen Imna Along and BLP leader Y Patton.
Also speaking on the occasion, Dimapur unit BJP president L Bendang Ao stated that BJP, as a national party with organisational setup, is different other political parties. He urged the members to work hard in order to elect more MLAs in the next election. He further advised the party members to work diligently in unity towards the service of the people.
Meanwhile, the state BJP general secretary, Khevishe Sema, informed the gathering that a biography of Deendayal Upadhyaya and Narendra Modi would be released on September 25, marking the birth anniversary of the former. He added that copies of the same would be made available to all.
