AWUMT office dedicated in Mokokchung

MOKOKCHUNG — The office of All Ward Union Mokokchung Town (AWUMT) located above Penli community hall was dedicated by Kikum Longkumer, pastor of Kumlong Baptist Church, in a solemn programme on Saturday.

Delivering the welcome address, AWUMT president, Limanungsang, lauded Kichutzar Kidong Mapang of Mokokchung village for allotting the land for the construction of the office building. He also acknowledged the contributions from various well-wishers and individuals.

He informed that Mokokchung town, which has more than 900 households, also contributed in the project (a G+3 building) which is currently under construction.

Imtijungshi also spoke on behalf of the Kichutzar Kidong Mapang during the programme.

The programme was chaired by Lemashi, convener of construction committee, which was attended by representatives from all 18 wards under Mokokchung municipality.
