Awomi to arbitrate at Asian Youth Chess C’ship

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) has informed that Mughaho Awomi, arbiter, joint secretary of AICF and honourary secretary of NCA, will be participating as an arbiter in the upcoming 25th Asian Youth Chess Championship 2023. The event is scheduled to take place from December 12 to the 22nd at AI Ain, Dubai.

Awomi holds the distinction of being the only arbiter from Nagaland and is the first among the Nagas to officiate in an international setting, the NCA said in an update.
