Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): The GPRN/NSCN has given its nod to what the working committee of NNPG has “achieved and agreed in principle” with the government of India, in regards to the Indo-Naga talks.
A statement from the group on Thursday informed that during a meeting of ‘all regional authorities along with top Naga army officials’, followed by the joint council meeting, it unanimously resolved to draw up an ‘endorsement document’.
“Along with the expressed will and desire of the Nagas, we, the Naga national workers, having been briefed clearly on the contours and status of the ongoing political negotiation between GoI and WC, NNPG, fully support, endorse and await the early announcement of Indo-Naga political solution.
“We agree that what has been achieved and agreed in principle, thus far between the GoI and working committee (WC), NNPG at a present time, is honourable and acceptable. We strongly believe that all unresolved issue(s) must be tackled by both entities with courage and commitment through continuous democratic and political process,” read the ‘endorsement document’.
