Two young minds from Delhi — Mhaleu Metha and Kesosilie Kennao – who started their journey as young entrepreneur, one as a restaurant owner and the other as a photographer, came up with the idea of developing an auto-sensing machine that sprays alcohol-based sanitiser after they were rendered jobless due to the Covid-19
pandemic.

Their automatic hand sanitiser dispenser operates on a 9 volt replaceable battery and it can be used for at least three weeks on a single charge which have infrared proximity sensor with maximum capacity to hold 10 litre of hand sanitiser, the update informed.

It went on to say that the machine is designed using a custom-made circuit board along with a 100 PSI 24v pump, additional solenoid and flow control valves have been installed to ensure precise dispensing of hand sanitiser. In addition to this, the dolphin infrared sensor results in more efficient delivery, the update informed.

Deputy Resident Commissioner Kethosituo Sekhose congratulated the ‘two young boys and encouraged them to come up with more innovative ideas’.
