Mokokchung, Jan. 6 (EMN):
An autobiography titled “Akumli Tongpang” written by C Kazukaba Jamir, a retired SDO, was released at Longsa village on December 6.

The book was released by K Supong, pastor of Longsa Baptist Church.
Speaking at the programme, the pastor acknowledged the author for his selfless sacrifice in order to instil the traditional values among the younger generation.

In his brief speech, the author said that the book includes his struggles in life, particularly during the military operation in connection with the Naga movement.

The autobiography speaks about his suffering in acquiring education due to poor economic background.

Jamir attributed his success to the contributions made by his parents and relatives.

The book will be available at Christian Literature Centre at Dimapur, Bina Book House, opposite state library at PR Hill in Kohima, and Eastern Book Depot, MTBA basement main police point, Mokokchung.
