Dimapur, Nov. 26 (EMN): An eviction drive was carried out on November 26 by two teams of authorities consisting of the Kohima district administration, police, nongovernmental organisations, and Kohima Municipal Council officials, along National highway- 29 at various locations from Lerie to TCP gate and Avilie Petrol Pump to Tinpatti.
‘During the drive, all construction and building materials, unused water pipelines and hanging water cables, pipelines and other obstructions and structures were removed from the roadside and disposed off. The drive was carried out for free movement of traffic and pedestrians,’ stated the department of Information and Public Relations on Tuesday in an update.
