The Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mokokchung is organizing ‘Agri Fest 2013’ under the theme ‘Prosperity through Farming’ at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung on August 15 & 16. The Agri Fest is being organized with an objective to bring the agri and allied government departments/institutions, industries, banks, input dealers, growers and entrepreneurs on a common platform and provide them the opportunities to showcase their products and services. It is also aimed at motivating the farmers and inspiring the young people to develop an interest in farming.
The two-day festival will witness activities such as exhibition by different agencies, competition of farm products, essay competition for students, ornamental plants competition, farmers’ seminar, rural bazaar and ethnic food courts.
