Dimapur, August 6 (EMN): Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Kohima district, conducted an orientation training programme for ATMA functionaries on August 2 at DAO conference hall, Kohima.
The programme was chaired by Rokoshuno Angela, Deputy Project Director, ATMA Kohima, while Vizonyü Liezie, DAO & PD (ATMA), welcomed all the new ATMA functionaries and highlighted on the rules and regulations.
Experience sharing was presented by Vimenuo Mere, BTM, Jakhama block, and Kelumyizoile, ATM, ATMA, Chiephobozou block in which they shared about their duties in the field and the knowledge they gained from working with the farmers.
The first technical session on “Understanding ATMA” was presented by Visizolie Virie, Deputy Project Director (ATMA), wherein he highlighted on the purpose of extension programmes, organisational structures of ATMA, work plan and flow of fund.
The second session on “Role and responsibility of ATMA” was presented by Rokoshuno Angela, Deputy Project Director (ATMA), Kohima. While briefing on the roles and duties of BTMs and ATMs, she advised them to coordinate with the BTT convener and work accordingly.
The third session on ‘Accounts related matter’ was presented by Thepfvüvizo, Accountant, ATMA, Kohima. He highlighted on the three quarterly instalments in one financial year. He said activities photos, APR receipts should be submitted after the completion of every instalment activities. He added that account details of Farmers’ Friend and Farm School Teacher should be furnished for Direct Benefit transfer.
The fourth session o “Extension reform monitoring system (ERMS)” was presented by Senchulo Magh, Computer Programmer, ATMA, Kohima. He gave an online presentation on uploading data in the web portal. He said the block functionaries have to upload the monthly progress report in the ERMS web portal for online monitoring.
