DIMAPUR — Irked by erratic power supply, the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) has served a timeframe of 48 hours with immediate effect to provide uninterrupted power supply throughout Kohima district particularly during the examinations period.
In a representation to the executive engineer of Power department, ASU expressed anguish to witness that Power department has now become the often irritation particularly during the most crucial HSLC and HSSLC examinations where the students are greeted with erratic power supply.
It cautioned that the union would be constrained to ensure a conducive electricity supply by resorting to any befitting pursuance if its demand was not met positively. It, therefore, urged department to redress the matter within 48 hours from the date of issue of this representation.
