Dimapur, Oct. 25 (EMN): In order to get first-hand information for assessment and assimilation on certain areas of the college, a team from the department of Higher Education visited the Pfutsero Government College on October 25.
The team was led by its deputy director Medongoyi Rakho, personal OSD Akum O Tzudir, and PA to the minister of Higher and Technical Education Lamsong.
During the visit, the team had interaction with the principal and teaching staff of the college, stated an update from the department of Higher and Technical Education on Friday.
It stated that the team had congratulated the college on its recent achievement in accruing NAAC accreditation and conveyed the message from the minister to work on where the college is lagging behind in the assessment.
It added that problems and needs of the college were put forward for untoward submission to the higher authority for redressal. The team also visited RUSA project at the new campus of the college and also validated the add-on courses offered by the college.
