An Assamese digital film ‘Morom Janiba’ featuring Deep Phukan (Deep) and Yesmen Ali (Litle) in the lead role depicting unbounded relationship between two friends and their fight against inter-state drug trade was released in simple function at Hotel Acacia on Sunday afternoon. A Pooja Film production, which was directed and produced by a veteran Dimapur based film maker Ajay Kumar, also depicts about love-hate relationship between a father and son driven by pursuit for materialistic gain of the modern time. In contrast to the former, the film portrays brother- sister love of an orphans who were raised by a noble woman who also left behind inheritance after her death. As with any conventional film, the epitome of the movie tells about good triumph over evil though at the expense of costing one’s life. One protagonist (Litle) loses his life in the fight against inter-state drug trade which was ultimately avenged by his ego-alter Deep to complete the plot of the movie. The movie will be put on sale in most CD stalls both in neighbouring Assam and Nagaland. The movie was released by Deputy Director NEZCC, D Nashum in the presence of cast crew and well wishers.
