Dimapur, July 29 (EMN): The 28th Assam Rifles in a press statement informed that it will be conducting a District Level Football Tournament under Operation Sadbhavana for the year 2018-19 to be held from August 6 at the Wokha local ground.
No registration fee will be charged for the tournament, therefore interested teams /clubs are requested to take part in the tournament.
It is also informed that two best teams will be selected to represent the region in the forth coming “Nagaland Football Tournament in Memory of Captain (Late) Kenguruse, Maha Vir Chakra” which is scheduled to be conducted at Kohima from September 10 till the 17th.
The winner, first and second runners-up will be awarded a cash prize of INR 30,000, 20,000, and 10,000 besides five individual prizes will also be given added the note.
