Assam Rifles participates in volleyball match, celebrates Aoleang

DIMAPUR — In the spirit of camaraderie and community engagement, the Assam Rifles played a friendly volleyball match with the youth of Peren.

According to a press release, the game was played in Peren on April 3, with a total of 18 villagers present.

On Thursday, the paramilitary force also observed the Aoleang festival in Tobu village, Mon district, Nagaland, to mark the arrival of spring and celebrate the bountiful harvest with the Konyak community.

It featured cultural dances, group songs, as well as volleyball and football competitions.
