DIMAPUR —Taking into consideration that the people of Pukhao Terapur village under Saikul sub-division have been deprived of basic healthcare service since the beginning of the unrest in the state of Manipur, the Assam Rifles organised a medical camp on June 7.

A defence release stated that villagers of Pukhao Terapur village and the people staying in nearby relief camps have availed the facility of medical consultation, treatment and medicines provided during the medical camp.

An approximate 500 people including 238 women and 167 children were treated by a team of doctors from Assam Rifles during the medical camp.
