Assam Rifles hosts ‘A day with company commander’ for students

DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised ‘A day with company commander’ at Charlie Hill for students of Christ King Higher Secondary School in Kohima on Saturday. The theme of the programme was ‘Building team spirit’.

According to a press release, a total of 80 students from the school participated in the programme, and various events were held to emphasise the importance of teamwork and leadership in today’s world.

The students were educated on the importance of coordination, reliance on team members, effective communication, and the cohesive elements of team building. Additionally, the unit medical officer gave a lecture and a demonstration on life-saving techniques.

It was stated that the programme instilled a sense of patriotism and motivation among the students, encouraging them to channel their energy towards positive endeavours and develop a strong sense of team spirit through various activities.
