Assam Rifles holds Capt. N Kenguruse trophy parade

DIMAPUR — The Assam Rifles held a trophy parade in Kohima on Saturday to announce the 8th Captain N Kenguruse, MVC Football Tournament.

According to an update, the event showcased the tournament trophy, with the parade route stretching from Lerie junction to High School junction via BOC, Phoolbari, and Tinpati junctions.

It featured traditional Naga musical performances and a live band.

‘The procession served to highlight the tournament’s schedule and its increased prize pool of INR 6 lakh, with the champions set to receive INR 3 lakh,’ it read.

The tournament, scheduled to commence on November 2, will feature teams from all districts of Nagaland competing for the championship title.
