Assam Rifles felicitates HSLC, HSSLC achievers

Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Assam Rifles felicitated seven girls and three boys who secured distinction marks in HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2022 during a special ceremony held at AR camp in Medziphema on June 18.

A press release from the Assam Rifles stated that Dr. Aleminla Ao, pro-vice chancellor of SASRD: NU and chief guest delivered a motivational lecture to the students.

It informed that students of HSLC and HSSLC from various schools in Chümoukedima, Kuhuboto and Jotsoma of Nagaland were awarded trophies, certificates of appreciation and gifts for their achievement.

Award recipient from HSSLC was Renthunglo from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima, while the award recipients of HSLC are Alimen from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima; Alolibo Assumi from Little Flower School, Chümoukedima; Mhalo L Odyuo from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima; Shivam from Shekinah School, Chümoukedima; Kezhaseno from Aldervile Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma; Probin Bhitrikothi from Mt. Mary Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima; T Waichang from Mt. Mary Higher Seconday School, Chümoukedima; Kilivi Sumi from Baptist School, Kuhuboto; and Kezhaleno Peseyie from Aldervile Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma.

Report added that parents and the chief guest have appreciated the efforts of the Assam Rifles in recognising the achievements of the students.

In a related programme, Chümoukedima Town Students’ Union (CTSU), in collaboration with All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), organised a felicitation-cum-career guidance seminar for successful HSLC and HSSLC candidates at Chümoukedima town hall on June 18 with the deputy commissioner of Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam, as the resource person.

Speaking on the occasion, Abhinav encouraged the students to put in consistent hard work and strong determination to excel and achieve their dreams. He also encouraged them to march ahead with strong conviction and pursue what they firmly believe.

YouthNet manager of training and talent management, Tsepila Zhimomi, and

CTSU president also spoke on the occasion.

Cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the HSLC and HSSLC toppers by CTSU and ANPSA.
