Assam Rifles extends assistance to schools in Sechü Zubza
DIMAPUR — As part of its civic action programme, the 1st Assam Rifles distributed sports and stationery items to three schools in Sechü Zubza namely Government Higher Secondary School, Christian Mission School and Government Primary School, Sechü Zubza Upper on Tuesday. Besidesw, the Assam Rifles also distributed plastic chairs also distributed to Sechü Zubza village council.
Speaking at the programme, the commandant of 1st AR, Colonel Umesh Sati stated that Assam Rifles is always ready to lend support to the public as and when needed. He has stressed on better relation between the army personnel and the public.
Colonel Sati also encouraged the students to strive hard to excel in their studies. Stating that the students are the leaders of tomorrow, he advised them to make the best use of the opportunities which comes their way.
The programme was chaired by Neidilhoutuo Sechü, while the vote of thanks was tendered by Kedizelhou Rutsa, assistant headmaster of GHSS, Sechü Zubza. The programme, which was held at GHSS assembly hall, was attended by faculty and students from the three schools and Gaon Buras and members of the Sechü Zubza village council.
