Assam Rifles conducts national integration tour for Nagaland students, free coaching in Kiphire, and supports local organisations.

DIMAPUR — The Assam Rifles conducted various civic action programmes, including a national integration tour, coaching classes, and sports events.
A group of students from Nagaland, returning post-completion of Rashtra Katha Shivir at Pransla, Gujarat, visited New Delhi as part of a national integration tour organised by Assam Rifles.
According to an update, during their visit, the students explored Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Air Force Headquarters, the National War Memorial, and Kartavya Path.
The visit aimed to deepen their understanding of India’s heritage, governance, and military legacy.

Meanwhile, Assam Rifles has commenced a four-week free coaching programme for aspirants of the SSC Constable (GD) Examination 2026 in Kiphire district. The initiative aims to provide structured academic and physical training to young aspirants seeking a career in the armed forces.
A total of 53 candidates, including boys and girls from the district, are attending this pre-recruitment coaching programme. The primary objective is to ensure maximum selection of deserving youth into the SSC forces. The month-long programme includes computer-based tests, academic coaching, and rigorous physical training.
Further, Assam Rifles facilitated the conduct of Boto Küdang, the inaugural general assembly and formal launch of the Khongsa Area Public Organisation (KAPO) at Khongsa town in Kiphire district. Boto Küdang marked the first official sitting of KAPO, during which the organisation was formally inaugurated, its objectives outlined, and office bearers introduced.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by S Kiusumew Yimchunger, MLA and advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, along with representatives of the civil administration, village elders, and public leaders. Assam Rifles provided administrative, coordination, and logistical facilitation to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
Also, Assam Rifles, with the Gaili Youth Council, conducted the 63rd Annual Sports-cum-Athletic Meet at Gaili village in the Peren district.
The multi-discipline sports meet featured volleyball events for men and women with 14 teams. The men’s football tournament witnessed the participation of 16 teams. Athletics events, including high jump and relay race, were organised alongside traditional games.
