Assam BJP meeting underway in Diphu

Diphu, June 15 (EMN): The two-day BJP Assam Pradesh Executive Committee meeting got underway in Diphu with delegates and invitees from the state and national-level, state ministers, MLAs and chairmen of various state government boards in attendance on June 14.

President of BJP East Karbi Anglong District Committee, Dhansing Teron informed that the main discussion in the two-day meeting will be on organisational matters of the party such as the functioning of the booth-level committees, Shakti Kendras and various morchas.

The party will also chalk out ways to prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha election due in 2025 and felicitate all the 26 winning candidates for their performance in the election, Teron added.

HAD Minister Mohan told media that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Central Minister Sarbananda Sonowal were expected to arrive but could not reach the venue due to bad weather.
