Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): At the request of the ministry of Finance, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is conducting a ‘feasibility study’ on the proposed Northeast industrial corridor for which the Nagaland government has scheduled a meeting.
The government’s publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), gave details on Wednesday about the scheduled event.
The meeting is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 am in the conference hall of the chief secretary at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat in Kohima.
In the meeting, the ADB team will be giving a presentation to the chief secretary and senior officials of some departments, the IPR stated.
These officials have been asked to attend the meeting: CEO of IDAN; additional chief secretary and development commissioner; agriculture production commissioner; administrative and departmental heads of Planning, Finance, Works & Housing-Roads & Bridges, National Highways, Industries & Commerce, Urban Development, Municipal Affairs, Power, NRE, Tourism, Agriculture, Horticulture, Transport, Forest, and of the Land Resources department; and team leaders of the NBDA, Honey Mission, and Bio-Resources.
“After the joint-meeting with the chief secretary, the ADB officials would like to have individual meetings with the departments. The ADB team will also have further deliberations with those departments who have submitted the EOI for PRF and TA under ADB on 11th and 12th July, 2019,” the IPR stated.
