Ashlee Simpson wants career help from mother-in-law Diana Ross

Ashlee Simpson has sought the help of her mother-in-law Diana Ross in a bid to reignite her music career.
The singer recently married the legendary singer’s son Evan Ross, and is said to have begged her to be introduced to some new producers.
Speaking to OK! magazine a source explained: “Ashlee’s constantly hitting up Diana for industry contacts. Diana has no problem helping her son out, and she really does like Ashlee, but she knows a spoiled princess when she sees one.”
“[Ashlee] is really pushing her luck with Diana.” they added.
The young star married Evan – four years her junior – in a lavish ceremony last month at Diana’s house in Connecticut.
Diana herself is ordained and so was heavily involved in the ceremony, even officiating the couple’s wedding herself and performing ‘Endless Love’ at the service.
She had previously dismissed rumours that claimed there were tension between her and her daughter-in-law.
“I want only love, happiness, and joy for my son and his bride.” she said shortly after the wedding.
