Dimapur, Dec. 3 (EMN) : A monthly meeting of the Accredited Social Health Activists (Asha) cum training on Community Based Assessment Checklist (CBAC) for Zunheboto Sadar was held on December 3 at the office of the District Vector Borne Officer (DVBO), Zunheboto.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO) stated that Valerie Kiba, BPM, Zunheboto Sadar, has urged the Ashas to improve home-based new born care reporting and also ensure complete immunisation. She also stressed on the importance of routine immunisation and micro plan house survey.
Besides, she also emphasised on CBAC for early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCD) and Tuberculosis (TB).
It also stated that Mudosayi, NVBDCP consultant, re-oriented the Asha on collection of blood slides and monthly reporting.
Altogether, 37 Ashas from Zunheboto Sadar attended the programme.
