The former Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) and party general secretary, Jotson Bey during a press conference held at ASDC central committee office in Diphu on Monday said that the Election Commission (EC) did not accept political parties request and suggestions for modifying the draft proposals for delimitation of LAC constituencies in the autonomous districts of Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong. The draft proposals were finalised in toto.

For the greater interest of the people of the two hill districts the EC should call for an all political parties meeting, Bey demanded, while expressing that the demand for 8 LA constituencies were not conceded.
