ASDC charges BJP of ‘hatching sinister conspiracy’

Diphu, May 8: The president of the Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) of Diphu, Bidorsing Kro through a press release stated that, ‘it is fully aware of the conspiracy being hatched by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule in Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council to murder democracy by refusing to hold elections to the various town committee in Karbi Anglong.’
Kro further stated that, ‘it was in the committee’s knowledge that an adhoc committee to rule various town committees will be formed, which will be headed by members who had recently joined the BJP party.’
“These all has reflected the fascist character of the RSS backed BJP party. The ASDC of Diphu Town area is determined to expose the sinister designs of the BJP and will expose them. We will also make all efforts that elections be held accordingly and ensure that democracy is survived come what may,” the press release added.
