Arunachal govt urged to strict ILP checking

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) and All Papum Pare District Students’ Union (APPDSU) today urged the state government for strict checking of Inner Line Permit (ILP) of the people visiting the state capital by train introduced recently.
They also demanded job quota in North East Frontier Railway for indigenous people of the state and construction of multipurpose bridge over the river Dikrong between Doimukh and Tigdo by the Railway department.
Listing all three demands, A joint team of ANSU and APPDSU submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi.
Governor on dev projects Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma has called upon the people to take responsibility in executing the developmental projects in the state.

The people should cooperate with district administration and executing agencies like Border Roads Organisation and Works Department to help expedite the programmes, Sharma, told a public meeting at Bomdila yesterday.
Expressing concern on recent occurrences of forest fire in different parts of the state, he appealed to the Gaon Burahs and youth to create awareness about it.
In another meeting with the heads of departments of the district, the governor suggested pooling of resources from the army establishments stationed in the district for addressing the healthcare issues.
Later while visiting the National Research Centre for Yak at Dirang, he applauded the scientists for scripting success in embryo transfer technology and in-vitro fertilisation and exhorted them to carry out more works so that local people got the benefits.
